*There were only about 300 of these Torchys made in the world. That makes this a very rare guitar and is one of the hardest to find in the BC Rich Body Art series. This one was made November 2003.

I like its long, fast neck (24 frets with a 25 1/2 inch scale) which is cut so you can easily reach the very highest notes without struggling. Action is low so she plays very well, to the point of being effortless. Much much faster than Gibson or Fender guitars. 

The pickups are very responsive, from warm and fat to chunky to in-your-face edgy, but always smooth-sounding. The tonality changes, depending on how hard you play it. Paired with a responsive tube amp, this guitar is a shredder's dream come true. The front pickup is a strat-sized humbucker and the rear is a traditional uncovered Gibson/Seymour Duncan style humbucker. Each pickup has it's own tonality and they combine extremely well for clean to dirty sounds.
